Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Florida

Foundations Wellness Center in Florida offers a range of options for drug and alcohol substance abuse treatment, from rehab after work to a partial hospitalization program and more. Short term rehab treatment at our facility entails a 28-day or 30-day drug and alcohol rehab program, with a choice of Partial Hospitalization Treatment (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment.

Clients in our PHP program live offsite in the sober living facility of their choice. Individual and group therapy sessions are held at our addiction treatment center Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, we take clients on a field trip, including to the beach if the weather permits. Clients maintain control of their cell phones and communicate with their families outside of treatment hours. With our flexible IOP treatment, clients can choose from day or nighttime schedules as fits with their employment needs or other daily obligations.

It all starts with the first step

With our short term rehab program, we start where you are, strengthen what you have, and help you to do what you can. Intensive short-term rehab can get you started on the right path. We will develop a personalized plan for you. We will shore up your foundation. We will give you the tools to maintain your recovery, so that you can walk it out, one day at a time – always doing the next right thing. And with each and every step, you can grow stronger in a new life, and better than ever before.

Frequently Asked Questions

Entering into the world of drug or alcohol rehab can be overwhelming. Take a deep breath, and welcome many new truths

If you’re considering addiction treatment or know someone who needs help, review our most frequently asked questions to find the answers that inform and provide essential peace of mind.

What is treatment like (what should I expect?)

The first three to five days are the roughest – you are adjusting to life after detox – but, soon after, as you settle into the program, you will experience group therapy, individual therapy, and medication management. You are learning how to balance work and life again, so you will have fun as you educate yourself and come to understand yourself better. We incorporate not just traditional methods, but you will also participate in experiential-based activities such as kayaking, biking, hiking, beach trips, snorkeling, et al.

What should I bring (and not bring)?

We want you to be comfortable at Foundations Wellness Center. Our admissions team will orient you to our facility and let you know which items you should bring upon admission.

How long does treatment last?

Our continuum of care traditionally runs from 30 to 120 days up to six months, depending on the needs of the client. Our alumni program offers ongoing client support.

What happens after I complete treatment?

We have a traditional step-down process that allows clients to gradually step back into the world. Clients are also supported through integral phases of early recovery milestones, with alumni check-in support and access to therapists long after their stays here.

“So instead of my story starting at birth (which is a horrendous story in itself!), I’m going to start where my addiction really started, which was 2006 while I was working as a nurse. I had very recently gotten a divorce and had untreated mental health issues. I began using meth to self-medicate because I felt so down…
