Born and raised in South Florida, I developed an early appreciation for diversity through travel, where I fell in love with meeting people from all walks of life, hearing their stories, and learning from their experiences. That love for connection led me into this field, where I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people in their recovery journeys. My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in business from Florida International University as well as a bachelor’s in human services and addiction studies from Indian River State College. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida. My path into this field is deeply personal, as I believe in the power of connection and second chances, both of which have played a role in my own life. Working in substance use and mental health treatment allows me to combine my passion for helping others with the knowledge and skills I’ve gained along the way. I believe recovery is about more than just getting better, it’s about rediscovering who you are and building the life you want.
